Russian Jewish are ethnically Jewish, but speak Russian. During the time of the Soviet Union, some went from Russia to other Soviet Socialist Republics such as Azerbaijan. Most have moved to Israel. Few in number, they are still precious in the Lord’s sight.
Ministry Obstacles
Russians used Christianity as an excuse to persecute their Jewish population. This has left a barrier between the Jewish population and the gospel of grace.

Pray that this knowledge will lead many from today’s people group to seek the Savior.

Pray that strong local churches would be raised up in each Jewish community, particularly those in Azerbaijan.
